Meridiano is a classic Tolima coffee with bright acidity and smooth texture. The coffee is produced by a group of small farmers who have been working with our partner supplier since 2009, and many of whose families have been farming coffee for generations. Located high in the Cordillera Central of the Andes, Herrera has optimal conditions for growing coffee - high altitude, biodiversity, good quality soil, shade trees, and reliable water supply. The farmers are conscious of preserving their resources for the future, implementing waste water management, prohibiting logging and hunting on their lands, while some of the contributing farmers have achieved organic certification.
